ECO Farm April delivery & Contracts Due

This is the last delivery in the 2011/12 contract year. Thanks to all members who participated and are helping to grow our ECO Farm!

Delivery this weekend is the perfect time to bring your contract to Keith for the upcoming 2012/13 contract year.

A message from Keith:

Although it’s still not perfect, it sure has come along way from the first year (there is about 20 of you that remember that one)! We sure have come a long way since then, while we’re short on a few things now, we still have a truck full of real organic food and plenty in storage until the new garden starts producing.

Thank you for your support in the past year and I look forward to being your farmer this coming year.

I have an overabundance of eggs and roasting chickens so pass this on to your friends/family to come on down and get some great organic eggs!

Friday 13th 5 pm in PA
Sat 10-11:30am in Saskatoon
Sat 3-5pm in Regina
Sun noon in Canora

see you all then

Do you know…
… where your food comes from?
… how it was grown and raised?
… if chemicals were used?
… whether it was genetically modified, fairly traded or sustainably produced?
… how long it was in transport and storage or if it was in contact with any contaminants?

Food security is a huge issue and the list of questions just keeps growing.

One of the best ways to get sustainable, eco-friendly, non-toxic, healthy food is through Community Shared Agriculture (CSA)—a system that provides a direct link between the production and consumption of food.
